  • Clicking, stiffness or a feeling of restriction

  • Loss of confidence using the arm for everyday tasks

Understanding of Your Story

We start by listening to your story, your symptoms and your concerns. We'll explore your injury history, activity levels, lifestyle habits and what you've tried before. No detail is too small, because everything contributes to the bigger picture.

Shoulder Conditions We Treat

Rotator Cuff Pain

The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that stabilize your shoulder. Injuries, such as tears or inflammation (tendinopathy), can cause pain, weakness, and difficulty lifting or rotating your arm. These injuries are often the result of repetitive overhead activities or trauma.

Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder occurs when the shoulder joint capsule thickens and tightens, leading to stiffness and significant pain. It usually develops gradually and can last for months or even years if not addressed.

Shoulder Impingement

This happens when the tendons or bursa in the shoulder become compressed during movement, causing pain and irritation. It’s often linked to repetitive overhead motions, poor posture, or muscle imbalances.

Shoulder Instability

Instability occurs when the shoulder joint becomes loose, often due to dislocations, subluxations or repetitive strain. It can lead to pain, weakness, and a sensation that the shoulder might “give out.”

Arthritis

Arthritis can cause joint inflammation, pain, stiffness, and reduced range of motion. While osteoarthritis develops gradually due to wear and tear, rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition that can affect the joint lining. Both can severely impact daily activities.

"To all dislocated shoulders out there, look no further than James Kwok. I started seeing James right after my shoulder injury. Luckily no surgery was required and I have to say a good reason for that was the great progess achieved during my physio sessions. James is very patient and explains everything that is involved in the recovery process to an extended level of detail. I really appreciated his approach and positive mindset throughout my time. Thanks James for your help with my shoulder!"
